RENEB Workshop: “Research priority on the application of artificial intelligence in biological dosimetry“

March 13th – 14th, 2024 at BfS, Munich, Germany

The workshop will introduce possibilities for the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in cytogenetic-based biological dosimetry and discuss and finalise plans for future RENEB activities in this field.A further aim of the workshop is to initiate networking between biological dosimetry laboratories which are interested in research projects on AI and experts of this field who have already gained initial insights into biological dosimetry. Based on this, further networking with AI experts is desirable.

European Radiation Protection Week (ERPW) is an annual, multidisciplinary event which, under the Consortium of European Radiation Research Platforms (MEENAS), brings together experts and addresses current and emerging topics related to radiation protection.

ERPW 2024 is being organized by Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS), Rome, and by the Italian association of Radiation Protection (AIRP).

​The conference aims to cover all fields of radiation protection, from medical to environmental, from practices to emergency, with focus on public, workers and patients. It will also bring together expertise from PIANOFORTE (European Partnership for Radiation Protection Research).

The Health Physics Society (HPS) is proud to welcome IRPA delegates and radiation safety professionals from around the world to the 16th International Congress in Orlando, Florida.
